I have no shame.  I am so not above campaigning, shamelessly.

That is, if I had any concept as to what shame is, so I'll have to go without it!

Of course, the button that I picked, will be a total shock to everyone.  By total shock, I mean so obvious that people would be surprised if I didn't pick it.
I'm only posting the notice here and on Twitter that the First Law recap is finally up.  It's a little late to be posting it elsewhere.
After reading the Ausiello for last week, I'm convinced the show is out to kill me with continuity.

Therefore, I'm going to send out the plea now.  Anyone want to officially help me spot all the continuity in the 100th eppesode?  I promise credit, cookies and well, I'll think of something.  There is no way I'll pick up everything when we're given clues from just the flipping pilot?  That's 99 other eppesodes they'll need to reference!

ACK!

ETA:  Actually, 100 eppesodes if one counts the unaired pilot that everyone has seen.

Since I no longer have any rules to follow over on my new blog, I wrote a brief history of my OTP.

Why?

Because I can.  And because it would've been too long for the intro to "Guilt Trip."

So, I recapped Dollhouse.  I spent over a year harassing Michael over at Recapist to let me do it, so I figure that I owed my once a month e-mail (every month on the second, starting from November 2007, when I first heard of the show's inception) to at least recap the pilot and then decide what to do with the later episodes, depending on the response.

So, here it is, the pilot's recap.  Let me know what you all think.

I was wary after a bad experience with Whedon fans at Polaris.  ( I posed the question whether or not it was good for Joss to go with a cast new to him, as opposed to his old guard from the old days, and had to leave the panel before I got skinned alive.  [livejournal.com profile] travellingone  can vouch for that.) I came to the decision this was a very, very small part of the fandom, many of whom did not even know the most basic details available by such difficult to use research tools like Google.

Overall, the show intrigued me but there wasn't the love like there was with Firefly.  I hope it gets better as some of the sexist moments really got on my nerves.

ETA:  The most difficult thing to recap in the pilot -- not calling Echo after my cousin, who, I swear when Echo is Miss Penn, is her twin.

If you could title a Torchwood episode, what would you call it?
