Ladies and gentleman, after some recent taking of my name without asking on Facebook, I've decided to be proactive.

Let me present to you, theoriginalspy's profile.

BTW F-list, you did help me select the nom de plume.  Please add me as a friend and we'll get this little blip in my username confusion out of the way.

PS:  I may create my own event.  If I did, would anyone attend?

PPS:  I am taking suggestions on how best to include a picture without it clearly being of me. [livejournal.com profile] travellingone  has already suggested taking a picture of me and covering it with a hand with the caption "Ten's hand!"

Does it still make an impact.

I love doing the Doctor Who recaps, but I get the least amount of feedback on them.  It's sort of depressing.

I'm sorry, fandom.  I tried loving Martha, but the writers kept playing silly-buggers with her character  (though more obviously done to the character of Gwen from Torchwood, Martha is still a victim of it) but it just wasn't possible.

I did though, love her on Torchwood.  Weird, isn't it?

SPOILER SQUEE!!!!!!

Usually, I don't read spoilers but someone posted this in a comment at Recapist, so I don't think I cheated.

*Dances with glee!*

This is completely awesome.  Feel free to join in the squeeage.

(Any anti-this character return comments will be greeted with the most severe scorn imaginable.)

SQUEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The recap is up, featuring a recap written (or attempted to be written) almost entirely in iambic pentameter.

It also has my favourite stage direction ever, featured.  (Exit, pursued by a bear.)
After much gnashing of teeth and some issues with the uploading process, the first two of my Doctor Who recaps are finally live.  They went up last night, but I was so tired after all the bugs were worked out, I went to bed instead of putting up notices.
They'll be going up in conjunction with the US airings.

The Runaway Bride

Smith and Jones

I'm currently writing the one for "The Shakespeare Code."  Sadly, I've already included a dozen Shakespeare quotations, a sonnet, and most of it, thus far, is written in iambic pentameter and rhyming couplets.  As I said over at Famesters, why couldn't they call it "the e.e. cummings code" that way I wouldn't need to use capital letters, or a great deal of punctuation!

Hee!  At the "Official" Numb3rs fansite, I just became my own category.  They're doing nominations for different things of the season a full list can be found here.
I'm category 3J:  The Most Painfully Awkward Line. They even credited me with it.  I'd go and nominate all my selections, but that would make me too much of a loser.
The nice part is, because some of the people don't know who I am or about the recaps, the thread mod actually posted a link telling people to go read them and nominate.
I'm actually a little impressed that I'm my own category.  Yes, small things like this are cool to me.  Either I'm proud somebody's read them, or I need to get a life.
That last statement is totally rhetorical.
