Dear TV Gods,

I love you.

Really, I mean love.  I'm talking -- you want to get married so I can fawn all over you for the rest of your life sort of love.

Yours,

Spy :)
It finally becomes spectacularly awesome in the penultimate episode?  That's just so wrong.

Of course, Alan Tudyk makes everything shiny.

It's now up at midseasonreplacements!  Woot!

ETA: Umm, yeah, in my excitement to post this I typed "not" instead of "now."  Luckily, I have ninjas to point this out to me.  I must change my icon for this error.

So, I recapped Dollhouse.  I spent over a year harassing Michael over at Recapist to let me do it, so I figure that I owed my once a month e-mail (every month on the second, starting from November 2007, when I first heard of the show's inception) to at least recap the pilot and then decide what to do with the later episodes, depending on the response.

So, here it is, the pilot's recap.  Let me know what you all think.

I was wary after a bad experience with Whedon fans at Polaris.  ( I posed the question whether or not it was good for Joss to go with a cast new to him, as opposed to his old guard from the old days, and had to leave the panel before I got skinned alive.  [livejournal.com profile] travellingone  can vouch for that.) I came to the decision this was a very, very small part of the fandom, many of whom did not even know the most basic details available by such difficult to use research tools like Google.

Overall, the show intrigued me but there wasn't the love like there was with Firefly.  I hope it gets better as some of the sexist moments really got on my nerves.

ETA:  The most difficult thing to recap in the pilot -- not calling Echo after my cousin, who, I swear when Echo is Miss Penn, is her twin.
