Theoriginalspy, or "Spy" for short, was born...somewhere in Canada. As Canada is the world’s second largest country, she feels that is a safe enough detail to give out. Plus, there is also a lot of wilderness in which to take cover. Due to her nationality, she peppers (she prefers salt, but oregano is also nice) her speech and writing with words like "favour,""theatre" and is frequently guilty of using "eh."(As shown here.) On a side note, the phrase, "The zebra ate my pants," also appeared in a recap. She enjoys the internet as it allows her to remain safely anonymous. (Anonymous, a word which here means: her parents were nice enough to give her a reasonable name.)

When she was younger she was what one would refer to as "precocious" but focused it all into healthy endeavours such as acting, dancing, writing and getting all the badges in Girl Guides. As an adult she has to have a career, which, when politics and bad attitudes aren't involved, she enjoys. The problem is that politics and bad attitudes are usually involved. Her dream in life would to be to take off two years to write a novel and travel the world. Her bank account is less than supportive of that dream and the lottery has been less than forthcoming.

Her hobbies include plotting to take over the world through snark-age, reading, writing, going to the theatre as often as possible and chronicling the lives of the characters on her favourite TV shows. She accomplishes this by recapping the show Numb3rs, Doctor Who, TorchwoodPrimevalon her blog and also posts on Midseason Replacements. Formerly, she worked for Recapist but the company decided that no longer paying its employees was a good business plan (hence her new shiny blog). She finds it “more comforting to believe that this simply isn’t a test,” although, if it is, she does wonder if she’ll pass.

She promises that this bio is the only time she refers to herself in the third person.

Finally, she does miss those pants.
