my garden attacked me
If I had my primary computer back, I would post the nastiest picture of what my hands look like right now.
And before anyone asks, yes I was wearing gloves. Sadly, my issues with allergies (currently being investigated, if my extreme allergic reaction to the virus last fall, has made them worse. IDK, but they certainly are worse this year. I always garden, but I don't wind up looking like this) mean that I can now only do this in fits and starts, but yesterday and today was turning it up, and serious weeding., but the prickles make it through the gloves, and one sort of got down inside said glove, and, yeah.
I look like I've been attacked by a rabid cat.
Official count:
wounds: stopped counting at 23
bandaids: 6
swollen fingers: 5
Ability to still be able to type: priceless.

I did get my GP to prescribe the mega dose extra strength Reactine for such emergencies. It's supposedly the best allergy med for skin reactions.
The other thing I find helpful is crushing regular aspirin and making a past of it and applying it to my wounds/injuries. It helps a lot.

We were eating Panda Express not too long ago, and my fortune made me think of your recaps. I'll see if I can dig out my camera and take a picture, but this is what it said: Before an evening of romance, turn off your cell phone.
